Lifeline mission trips are tailor-made to each team's strengths and abilities, while also maintaining standard activities that provide a comprehensive experience on the mission field.

Each participant:

- shares their own devotion with the mission team
- reaches out to the community through home visits
- participates in hands-on ministry projects (construction, painting, cleaning and more)
- worships with national Christians in their churches
- has an opportunity to teach children or adults through devotions, Bible studies or VBS
- enjoys a time of relaxation, site seeing and shopping for native cultural items

Additional ministry opportunities may be available based on the participant's profession, skills, or abilities: preaching, teaching, leading workshops and physical education classes, special music, working in the health clinic, etc.

Unique Opportunities:
Mission trip participants have the opportunity to be involved in ministries that are unique to Lifeline!

Meet your sponsored child:
Sponsors can personally meet their sponsored child, deliver gifts, and potentially visit the family's home.

Home building ministry:
Donors can personally be involved in the construction of the home they purchased for a Haitian family and participate in the dedication ceremony.

Comfortable dorm facilities are provided for teams, which have  running water, showers and dorm-style rooms; some couples rooms are available. Onsite kitchen facilities and cooks provide delicious meals. Safe drinking water is provided.

What team members are sharing about their experience in Haiti:

I cannot tell you how happy I've been since our trip. There was a part of my heart that felt love that's never felt before. Talking about our experience brings a smile to my face and those who know me tell me how much I have grown and changed. I thank you, Lifeline and the Haitians, for such a wonderful experience and for bringing meaning back into my life. I plan on coming back next year, so be ready! - Sarah S.
