Approximately 70% of Haiti's population is undernourished to some degree, with infants and children suffering the most. Lifeline's nutrition clinics are filled with children who have exhibited some degree of malnutrition and rely on supplemental food, grains and/or vitamins for growth and development.
Lifeline works to feed the poor and those in great need of nutrition. Through nutrition clinics for pregnant women, new moms, infants, and toddlers, Lifeline provides peanut butter, rice-based nutritional food, rice/beans/grains, and baby formula to the people of the community.
How You Can Help!
- Host an meal packing event or peanut butter drive at your church, organization or school! At meal packing events, participants package a nutritious, rice-based food that is shipped around the world where children and families are imnpacted by starvation and malnutrition. By organizing a meal packing event or a peanut butter drive you can directly minister to and feed the hungry children in Haiti and the world!
- Organize a Quarter Back Challenge to help ship much needed donated foods to Haiti.
