With only 6% of Canadians actively involved in any church the need is great to connect people to Christ and to develop strong churches. Specifically within the Christian Church movement there are less than 70 churches with approximately 6000 in attendance in a country of over 34,000,000. The primary ministry involvement in Canada is areas of church planting and leadership development. In 2010 Lifeline sent the first mission trip team to Calgary Canada to outreach to kids through a day camp.
Calgary church plant – a network was formed in 2012where Lifeline will be a partner. Project involvement includes financial commitments of $60,000 to launch the new church and evangelistic focused mission teams to help launch and develop the new church.
