The Need:
Over 11,000,000 people live on the island of Cuba, the third poorest country in the Caribbean behind Haiti and Dominican Republic. A modest 8% of the population is evangelical leaving plenty of room for additional discipleship and church development.
Ministries:
Lifeline began ministry in Cuba in 2004. The primary ministry involvement in Cuba is in areas of sponsoring 8 house churches and leadership development seminars along with mission trip health care clinics and nutrition ministry food distribution.
Projects:
House churches - In 2011 Lifeline committed to sponsor two additional house churches. Project involvement includes sponsorship of a house church for $100 a month.
Prayer:
Pray for the house church leaders in Cuba. Pray for doors to open to reach the people of Cuba.
