After participating in a work trip to Haiti on the Women's Christmas Work Trip, Barbara Walls wrote:

"Gretchen, I want to thank you and the Lifeline staff for an eye-opening ten days into the lives of the Haitians.  What a wonderful, loving people they are!  I learned so much from their humility and thankfulness.  God enriched my life from spending time with everyone who lives and breathes their Christian faith every moment of every day, helping those who are so special to our Father.

I know now what it is like to "be" the church as opposed to how we "do" church.  You and the Haitians are in my prayers daily."
