Great news! Sponsor gift distribution
photos are now online!
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS GIFT DISTRIBUTION PHOTOS ON THE WEB:
Please note that the gift distribution photos that are currently
online are for the following gift deadlines:
~Haiti: October 2009, July 2009 and April 2009 gift deadlines and earthquake
relief gift money for January, February & March
~Honduras: April 2010, January 2010 and October 2009 gift deadlines.
Gift distribution photos taken before these dates are not
online since these photos have already been distributed to the
sponsors. Gift distribution photos for gift deadlines after
these dates have either not been processed/uploaded yet or are
in route to be distributed to your child. We will email
sponsors when the next set of photos are online and ready for
you to access.
Some
important points before you begin to access your sponsor child's
gift photo(s):
-
You will need your Lifeline assigned Account Number (also
called your "AN"); it can be found on the contribution
envelopes we provide and in your original child sponsorship
packet. It is also on the back of previous photos mailed to
you. If you cannot locate your AN, please email
Lovelink@Lifeline.org
or
Erma@Lifeline.org.
-
If you have any problems with these instructions below or
have questions in how to maneuver, please email
Janet@Lifeline.org
-
Please follow these directions below as written in this
order to access the website, find your child's gift photo(s),
and save the photo file onto your computer.
How to access your sponsor child's gift photos:
~First, go to the website: www.Lifeline.org/photos
~Next, find your sponsor child's gift photo:
-
In the "Search" box, located on the right side, type in:
Your account number. You must include "AN" before your
number, such as "AN12320"
-
After you type in your account number please hit "Enter" on
your keyboard.
-
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
-
Now, one or more photos should appear in a gray box. These
are all the photos associated with your sponsor AN (account
number).
~
Finally, save the photo to your computer:
-
Once you have searched & found your child's photo(s) and
they are in the gray box (following the instructions above),
click on one of the photos.
-
The photo becomes larger on the right side of the screen.
-
Now hover your mouse over the photo: a box appears on the
right edge of the photo.
-
Towards the bottom of this box is a yellow folder icon
titled "Save Photo"; please click on this.
-
Depending on your internet security settings on your
computer, a box should appear with the option to "open",
"save", or "cancel".
-
If you click the box "Open": then the photo will begin to
download, depending on your internet security settings on
your personal computer. The photo will open once it is
downloaded. At this point, you can save the photo or select
other options, as your computer program will allow.
-
If you click the box "Save": depending on your internet
security settings on your computer, you will be able to save
the photo to a specific location on your computer. Please
remember this location and later you can open your photo at
your convenience.
-
If you click the box "Cancel": your photo will not open or
save to your computer.
-
If you have more than one sponsor photo, go back to your
previous internet page and repeat the process of opening or
saving each photo.
-
After you save the photo to your computer, you can share
your photo with your friends and family through Facebook and
email, or print your photo for your refrigerator or group,
etc.
-
HAVE FUN!!

-
As is always the case, we need to know if there is a problem
with the photos of your child or if you have any questions
about what your child has received.
Occasionally mistakes occur where photos get identified
incorrectly or the wrong child comes; sometimes a family
member comes to receive a gift if a child is ill or away
visiting with family. This occurred more often this winter
after the quake because parents sent their children away to
stay with relatives in areas NOT as badly affected. Many
families lost their homes and chose to do this. I made the
decision to give the gifts to the parent instead of making
the child wait another 3 months to receive their gifts.
