When an infant enters into the program,
your
sponsorship helps provide
weekly clinic examinations,
medicines, medical care (as needed), vitamins, powdered infant
formula, cereal and other grains, clothing and other
benefits deemed necessary.
Once a child is past the age of needing baby formula (18
months to 2½ years, depending upon growth and progress),
the child graduates to the
Toddler Nutrition
Program;
the child continues to receive
nutrition, medicines, vitamins, clothing, and more.
When a child becomes old enough for
preschool (approximately 4 years old) the child enters
Lifeline’s Grand Goave Christian School.
As a sponsor of a child in the Infant
& Toddler Programs,
you will receive a biography, photo, copy of the birth
certificate and periodic information on the child’s
progress. You
may also correspond with your child/child's family and
send gifts.
If a child does not survive, Lifeline will contact you to
share the circumstances and offer you an opportunity to
accept another child.
As a sponsor of a child in the Infant & Toddler
programs, our hope is that you will sponsor this child
through primary school (sixth grade). Once a child
graduates they can attend the free, government high
school.
