Lifeline’s Homes for Haiti Ministry allows you the opportunity to purchase a home for a needy Haitian family. Your gift provides a family with a durable, lasting home that will provide safety and security for many years to come.

Please note: all homes that have been built stood firm in the earthquake in Haiti!

Details

• Home: A 2-room cement block home.

• Included with the purchase of the home: Construction supplies, roof, windows, doors, concrete slab, and labor to assemble house.
  Please note: No provision for water or electricity is included since these utilities are not available or economically practical.

• Recipient Haitian families are required to provide land on which homes are to be built. It is common for land to be rented at very affordable rates, often just $50-$100 annually.

• Additional Needs: Upon request, Lifeline can provide a list of practical items needed by families for their new home.

• Cost: $4000 US dollars as of January 2010.  (Price subject to change; please call or email for current price)
