2019 Ministry Highlights

Because you gave your time, prayers, and/or donations, Christ's love is being expressed around the world! Check out these ministry highlights from 2019.


Arizona

God truly blessed Red Sands Christian School financially in 2019. A scholarship organization partnered with the school and by the end of the year, only 5 students remained without funding.

On top of that, the need for a kitchen remodel was met by many incredibly generous donors. The school will be able to have a fully functioning kitchen to provide hot meals for students. God is so faithful!

Ecuador

Rey Sabio Salomón school will have its very first graduating class in July 2020! During a mission trip in 2019, the senior class (the 13th grade) went on a field trip with a younger grade and was given the responsibility of looking after the younger students. They had the opportunity to live out what it means to love, serve, ignite, and they did a great job!

El Salvador

El Salvador’s volcano church launched in 2019, and with the help of mission teams it now has a structure for the church body to meet in! At Chalchuapa Christian Church, leaders and pastors from the United States and Canada put together a seminar and taught Bible classes to 65 local leaders. The body of Christ is growing in El Salvador!

Guatemala 

In 2019, the church in Guatemala learned about the joy of giving. The church came around a community in great need and held a day of festivities! The children and their families in this community were filled with joy as they heard the word of God, played games, and enjoyed refreshments. At the end of the gathering, each person was given a small gift; the church’s eyes were opened to the importance of not only receiving gifts, but giving gifts and sharing God’s blessings with others. 

Haiti

God drew near to the hearts of the staff in Grand Goave last year. In 2019, the employees in Haiti decided to gather each morning for devotions before their workday began. Each day, the staff is encouraged to share the love of Christ with others, to serve as Jesus did, and to attract others to Christ through their actions. Having fellowship with one another at the dawn of each new day has resulted in unification. They are now one body, just as Christ intended! 

Honduras

2019 was a year of blessing for students in Honduras. Twelve students decided to dedicate their lives to Christ and were baptized this year!

A new school opened in a poor neighborhood in Tegucigalpa to give children the opportunity to receive a bilingual education; nine students completed their preschool education there this year. After a two year internship, two students of the Bible Institute graduated and are now sparking lives on mission for God with other pastors. Praise God for working in the hearts of so many students in Honduras!

Panama

God blessed the church in Panama with powerful outreach opportunities in 2019. In the summer, a Bible seminar was held in an indigenous reservation where 35 local leaders were poured into and 50 Bibles were given away. 

In Panama City, a children’s camp was held and more than 600 children participated! 42 North American leaders came to help serve the children by planning activities, playing games, and teaching the word of God. The church in Panama is serving others just as Christ did.
