Cuba
Cuba at a Glance
This beautiful Caribbean island is just 90 miles off the southernmost tip of Florida, but it is far removed from American culture or influence. Political tensions and distrust have isolated Cuba from much of the outside world for a generation, leaving a cloud of mystery and intrigue.
Any misgivings about Cuba are quickly forgotten as soon as you meet the warm and welcoming people. The streets are safe and fun to explore. History, culture and natural beauty abound. The church, like other aspects of the culture, looks different than what we expect, yet it is vibrant and multiplying. It's evident what we share in common, not our differences, is what matters most.
Lifeline in Cuba
Although travel to Cuba is restricted, Lifeline has had special permission to visit there for the past two decades to provide a broad spectrum of training to a variety of sectors. During that time, we've developed a close, meaningful relationship with Campo Amor, a youth sports foundation that includes a network of 100+ house churches spread across the island. Coaches and pastors team together to reach families in their community for Jesus.
Lifeline is equally passionate about YOU.
You can make an impact when you connect your passion and abilities with God's work in a global community.
