Santa Cruz de Yojoa Church Update

We have a new family in our congregation that has been attending our church for about five months now: Jorge, his wife Alma, and their daughters: Alma (23), Digna (19), Gracia (17), and Ana (15).

Tuesdays and Fridays we have house church. Every three months we fast for a week and on Saturday we have a vigil. On Saturdays we have youth group, and then on Sundays we have a service and the kids have a Sunday school program.

Share a testimony of a church member. 
Cesar and Lilian and their four children (Atoni - 12, Cristian - 11, Milton - 7, and Katerin - 2) have been a part of our church for over 7 years.

Cesar was baptized on September 18! It was very good news for his wife, his family, and our brothers and sisters when he decided to get baptized. The church leaders and Lilian had been praying for this for a very long time. Cesar was telling me that he had a lot of doubts about baptism. He received baptism studies three times. He also received the study along with his wife five years ago. She got baptized at that time, but he did not decide to do it.

This time he said it was the perseverance and the encouragement of the brothers and sisters from the church that helped him make the decision to get baptized. 

When it was announced he was getting baptized, brothers and sisters clapped and were very happy for him. The day he got baptized, everybody was there to witness it and celebrate.

• Pray for land to build the temple.
• Pray for our meetings in homes.
• Pray for the leaders who are involved in evangelism.
