Class is Back in Person this Year at Red Sands!

How has God shown up in your class?

God shows up in each student, in some form or another: helping one another, being kind, and random acts of kindness for others.

What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of? (i.e. holidays, celebrations, traditions)

Christmas was special. We did a Christian version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?

There are so many to choose from! I will have to say how happy students were to see each other after having to be on Zoom for a while!

What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?

We are looking forward to flying our kites soon.

Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season? 

They have been studying Proverbs. I repeat the Golden Rule quite often.

Is there a student or parent that has stood out to you? How and why?

I have several students who have been making tremendous progress in reading.


What would you like to say to partners that are supporting the class and students?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Is there anything else we’ve missed?  We want to know it all!

Having been a teacher in public school, I am so happy to work at our Christian school, where we are able to teach what really matters.
