How has God shown up in your class?
[Christa] God has shown in my class through the positive impact He is making in the lives of my students. They are dedicated to their schooling and always do their best in their homework. They all respect each other, and their friendship has grown between them. I am fortunate to see the work that the Lord is doing in their lives.
[Dillia] God has shown up in my class through the way my students behave and for the love they have for each other. It is always with great joy for them to come to school and participate in the devotion that we do every school day.

[Dillia] Flag Day, Labor and Agriculture Day, Recreation Day.
What was the occasion and why is it important to your culture?
[Christa] Flag Day is an important day for us and for our country; it reminds us of the sacrifices that our ancestors did so that today we can be a free nation. It is on May 18th; we celebrate with our students by singing songs and dressing up in red and blue. Labor and Agriculture Day is an important event in our society which we celebrate on the 1st of May. We organize activities with our students, play games and ask questions. For Christmas we always celebrate it before school closes for the holidays.
[Dillia] One of the celebrations we enjoy is Flag Day; we always celebrate it on May 18th. We were able to participate in the parade in our cities, singing and dancing. The event means a lot to us because it is our pride as a nation.
What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
[Christa] The first week of school, one of my students came to me and asked me to pray for her mother because she was not feeling well. I was amazed to see the faith she has in God.
[Dillia] One of my students was able to sing a song in church for the whole school and he did a great job. It made me happy because he was not shy and was happy to give praise to God.
