How has God shown up in your class?
God has shown up in my classroom through the behavior of my students. I had students who used to say bad words to others. During the devotions each morning with them I told them not to say bad words and that God does not like people to use bad words with others. I was amazed at how they have become more sympathetic and stopped using bad words.

What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of? (i.e. holidays, celebrations, traditions)
We can't wait to participate in Recreation Day before school closes, and Flag Day in May.

What was the occasion and why is it important to your culture? 
We always celebrate Flag Day with our students every May 18th, and during the day we do a lot of fun activities with them like coloring, singing songs and drawing pictures of the flag. This day is important for us because it is the visible sign of the fatherland. For the Recreation Day, we teach them new games, make crafts, sing songs and dance. We do this to put them in an atmosphere to enjoy school and not just to come and learn every day.

What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
I was so blessed last week by the reaction of my students. Before they went home they came over to give me a hug and tell me they can't wait to see me the next day. It made me cry to see the love they have for me.

What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?
We look forward to participating in Flag Day, and Agriculture and Labor Day.

Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season? 
We are studying in the book of Ephesians and we are looking at 1:6  this week.  

Is there a student or parent that has stood out to you? How and why?
The first day of school is not easy for small children. Some cry and want to go home, but after a few weeks they get along well.

What would you like to say to partners who are supporting the class and students?
Thank you for opening your hearts to help and support my students through their schooling. May God bless you for doing something good in their lives. We will be praying for each of you for health and prosperity. May peace of God be with you.
