Growing and Learning Together!
Teacher: Anette
Class: First Grade
Region: Laregal
How has God shown up in your class?
I see the presence of God in my classroom by the way my students' friendship has grown with each other and by the respect they have for the school staff and for me as a teacher.
What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of?
We always participate in the morning devotion, and the festivities of Flag Day (May 18), Labor Day and Christmas. They are all important to us because Flag Day represents freedom for us, and Labor Day gives us the opportunity to share with our students the importance of having a job to do in a community. For Christmas we always celebrate it with our students to let them know how much God loves them by sending His only son to die for us.
What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
I was overwhelmed with joy to see my students come together to pray in class for one of their classmates, who was not feeling well. I am amazed to see how they trust God in all situations.
What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?
Our reading contest, Flag Day, and Labor Day.
Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season?
We have learned many verses from the Bible this year. Now we are actually learning Psalm 34 verse 2.
What would you like to say to partners who are supporting the class and students?
First of all, I would like to say thank you for your heartfelt support of my class. My students really appreciate all of you and you are always in their prayers. May God continue to bless you so that you can keep on supporting them. We are looking forward to meeting you in the future. May the peace of God be with you.
Prayer Requests:
- I want you to pray so that I can stay healthy both spiritually and physically so that God will give me the wisdom and patience to do my job well.
- Also please pray that my students have good understanding and that they grow in the word of the Lord.
