How has God shown up in your class?6th Grade at Laregal
The presence of God is manifested in my classroom through the patience and the experience He has given me to accompany those with learning delays in the classroom.  I see God also through the way my students behave in class.

What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of?
We participate in the celebration of Flag Day (May 18th) to mark the importance of this date in the history of our country, and the importance of keeping the history of our country alive. We also organize days at the beach for leisure, and activities to raise awareness of the need for reforestation to protect the environment.

What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
I have a student who was struggling with his homework and came to me and said he was having a hard time doing it. I helped him and what made me happier is that his classmates chose to help him understand what he was struggling with.

What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?
Playing soccer with other classes, Flag Day and Labor Day, and celebrating with those who will graduate from sixth grade.

6th Grade at LaregalIs there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season?
We are studying Jeremiah 29:11 to encourage the students to trust in God and He will take good care of them. His plans for us are to help us, not to hurt us.

What would you like to say to partners who are supporting the class and students?
We want to let them know that we are praying for them that God will keep them healthy both physically and spiritually. Their support is a great blessing for the students and it will make them try harder to progress in life. May the peace of God be with them and their family.

Prayer Requests:

  • You can pray for me and my class for God to give us robust health.
  • Ask God to give us more courage and determination in fulfilling our teaching mission.
  • Ask God for more wisdom and intelligence for my students.
