How has God shown up in your class?
The presence of God appears in the classroom through the way students respect others. They act with love, wisdom, and compassion for vulnerable students who cannot learn as fast as they can.
What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of? What was the occasion and why is it important to your culture?
Flag Day is May 18th. It is a big event in our country and our class loves to participate by wearing red and blue and singing our national anthem. We celebrate Earth Day by doing fun classroom activities on how they can protect the earth. On June 13, we celebrate Children's Day in our country to let our students know that they are important to us and that we love them.
What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
One of my students brought a Christmas present for me and it brought joy to my heart. He also said he gave me this gift for all the effort I put in and appreciate everything I do for his class.
What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?
We are looking forward to playing soccer with other classes. We look forward to the first of May to celebrate Agriculture Day, and Flag Day on May 18th. We will also have a reading contest.
Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season?
We are reading the book of Joshua and we have studied Romans 12:2.
What would you like to say to partners who are supporting the class and students?
Thank you for all you do for our class, we really appreciate your support. We pray that God will continue to bless you for opening your hearts to support us. For now on, we pray that God will continue to bless you and keep you healthy.
Prayer Requests:
- I would like you to pray for me so that God gives me more knowledge to better help the students in their schooling.
- I also want you to pray that our students take their schooling more seriously so that they can be more productive in their education. This academic year of school, we want it to be a blessing for all of us.
