Growing and Learning Together!

How has God shown up in your class?
The presence of God is manifested in our classroom through the way my students behave, care and support each other. My students are very collaborative in everything we do in the class.
What are some notable updates or activities that your class has been a part of? What was the occasion and why is it important to your culture?
May 18th is Flag Day and our class participates by celebrating and also by finding the opportunity to express their thoughts. For Christmas we always celebrate it before school closes; this where everyone comes together to sing and dance and share their thoughts on Christmas and why our savior Jesus Christ was born. May 1st is Agriculture Day in our country; we take advantage of the moment to encourage the students to take care of their environment. These activities take place throughout the year, they are important to our culture because they bring joy and happiness to all.
What is your favorite memory from this year so far? Something that made you laugh? Cry? Praise God?
One of my fondest memories is seeing one of my students sharing the gospel with one of his classmates and it made me happy to see the faith they have in God.
What are some activities or events that you and your class are looking forward to?
We are looking to participating in many activities by playing soccer with the fifth grade, celebrating Flag Day, and having a party at the end of the school year for those completing their sixth grade.
Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season?
We are studying Romans 12:2 this week in class. We always have a verse we choose to study together and share our thoughts on it.
What would you like to say to partners who are supporting the class and students?
We would like to say thank you for your support of the sixth grade. We pray that God will continue to bless you and keep you healthy. Our class will continue to pray for you for the great work you are doing for the Lord our God. May the peace of God be with you.
Prayer Requests:
- We would like you to pray for me and my class so that the presence of God will always be with us.
- We want you to also pray for our students to have good understanding and focus more on their education.
- This will be their last year in our school; we want God to provide for their families in the coming year so that they can continue their studies in other schools when they graduate from our school.
