New Year, New Tools, New Expectations

My name is Valeria Flores. I am the 11th grade teacher.

This year will be full of challenges since we have to face different circumstances, but I am sure that each one of these will serve as a life lesson for my students and me.

Two weeks of classes have passed, and they have been an excellent experience for the students. We live in a world where technology is an essential part of life, and we are a technical school, so this new way of teaching and learning has become the best way to teach our students the right way to use the tools we have now.

The students and the teachers have to learn to use tools that were a long time available, but because we didn't give them the right importance, we were not using them.

Teaching and learning in a virtual way have allowed us to experience and understand that technological tools have become fundamental for learning. Using them, we can make attractive, entertaining, and funny classes. We are encouraged to continue on this long path that awaits us and will surely be full of positive things.

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray for joy. Being so long at home and not being able to see each other can make us feel sad. I want to bring joy to my students in the middle of all this.
• For wisdom and understanding to learn in this challenging time so they can make the best decision.
• Pray that there is never a lack of daily bread in each of the homes.
