New Year, New Tools, New Expectations
My name is Tatiana. I am the 3rd grade teacher. This year started with some difficulties because of COVID 19.
I had to adapt a part of my house to teach my classes. I decorated it with owls and some nice words to feel in a suitable environment and capture my children's attention.
This year, my little ones will learn a song per week that will help us work on their corporal expression and release the stress that could be there. As for academics, in the area of Mathematics, they will learn to multiply, the correspondence relationship of sets, notions of division, monetary quantities, sequence relationships, and order mathematical problems of addition, subtraction and multiplication.
In the Language and Literature area, they will work on the comprehensive reading part, reinforce their critical thinking, creative writing using analogies, rhyming words, spelling and oral communication.
In the Sciences, emphasis will be placed on the care that must be taken with the virus, matter, natural resources, propagation of light, kinds of threats and measures for the protection of habitats, classification of animals and plants, taking care of your body in physical activity, and healthy eating.
In Social Studies, we will work in three essential areas, such as the history and identity of Ecuadorians (to strengthen our country's traditions), ethnic groups, linguistic diversity and respect for others, the political divisions between Ecuador and the authorities, and finally coexistence, emphasizing institutional values, human rights, citizen participation, the care of public spaces, the duties and rights of children.
Prayer Requests:
- In the middle of all this I will ask you to pray for contentment and that God allows us to despite all that is happening around be focus on God's perfect will.
- For my Student's parents to have an income to provide food for their families and that they continue to be so respectful and responsible for their little ones' activities.
-
For health in our community.
