New Year, New Tools, New Expectations

My name is Consuelo Paillacho. I am the teacher of 5th grade. The beginning of this new school year has been very hard since connecting to virtual classes. Not everyone has a computer or telephone to enter the studies; however, the students make the best effort to join and participate in the class. Now they value the time lost and want to overcome themselves regardless of adversity.

I have observed these days a greater collaboration of the parents and the children's desperation to learn; the desire to return to the classrooms is tremendous. Still, with faith in God, we continue forward, and we think that all this will pass, and we can share moments together.

We have several families who suffer in silence and go through very significant needs that only our Creator can understand. Only faith in God keeps us standing amid much sadness and tears for the departure of our loved ones.

My class is fun and outgoing. We are just starting the year, and with a lot of expectation, we look forward to this school year.

• Please pray for work, the economics are not good for my families in the community. A lot of our parents are out of work.
• Please pray for my students to be in good health.
