New Year, New Tools, New Expectations
  

My name is Marilita Fierro. I am the 7th grade teacher.

On the first day of class, I had high expectations to start this new school year presented unusually. We are facing new challenges related to the application of technology; the classes will be virtual. The strategies we use are diverse to capture our children's attention, such as videos and musicals, thus creating an interactive, dynamic, and fun environment during our class hours.

I did not know how the children would react. Still, it was surprising because, despite all the existing limitations (connectivity, economic, and family problems), children have this beautiful ability to adapt to different circumstances with their joy, energy, and enthusiasm. With the beautiful smiles my commitment to teaching them grows day by day.
