School is in full swing!

Red Sands Christian School began its 2020-2021 school year on August 3rd. During the first week of school, teachers and administrators met with each family individually. These meetings allowed the school’s staff to assess where the children were educationally after 5 ½ months without face-to-face schooling. It was such a rich time of fellowship and relationship building that helped students and their families in the transition back into school.  

School is now in full swing and teachers and students are on and off of Zoom video calls Monday through Friday. Each student also comes into the classroom one at a time each week to meet with their teachers. It is all hands on deck at Red Sands and Lifeline is so thankful for everyone’s hard work and dedication.

Introducing Principal Michelle!

Michelle Jacott joined the Red Sands Christian School team on June 15th as the new administrator and principal! Michelle and her husband relocated to the Winslow area from Globe, Arizona. God certainly knew what Red Sands needed during an unprecedented time with the new COVID-19 restrictions!

Michelle has brought great creativity as to how to run the school during this time. Not only that, but with attendance being low at the school, she has also stepped in as the Jr. High teacher! We are grateful for her guidance to all of the staff as this year proves to be challenging.

Praises and Prayer Requests

• Praise for the 12 students from Red Sands Christian School who received tuition scholarships!This significantly helps cover most of their tuition.

• Praises for the plumbers and electricians who continue to work on completing the new school kitchen.

• Praise for a successful start to the new school year!

• Pray for the completion of the kitchen as well as county requirements to be met.

• Pray for stamina for our staff...They are working tirelessly to accomplish the goals needed for teaching during this COVID-19 crisis.

• Pray for continued health for our staff and students.
