School Looks Different This Year

School looks different, but God is still working in and through the students and staff at Lifeline's school in Gonzales!

Written by the principal at Gonzalez School

Photo of kids lined up for schoolRecently, the Gonzalez School celebrated Children’s Day with staff, students, and their families!

It was considered one of the best days of the school year. This year, students enjoyed a day at home, watching movies and making crafts with their families. While the celebration looked different this year, the school wanted to make sure the students knew how seen, valued, and loved they are.

In class, students are spending time in God’s Word. They are encouraged to read Bible verses and then write down what the verse means to them. One of the verses that the student’s have been focusing on is Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
