School Looks Different This Year
School looks different, but God is still working in and through the students and staff at Lifeline's school in Ocotillo!
Written by Guillermo PinedaCOVID-19 has greatly affected the communities in San Pedro Sula; however, students remain engaged and excited about learning from home!
Kindergarten students to students in 11th grade have been participating in fun and educational activities from home! Some of these activities include crafting with friends, zumba classes with family, taking walks outside, and studying the Bible together. The school even celebrated Bible Day from home this year!
The school has been working hard to ensure that the students remain engaged even when they’re learning from home. But we are also praying that school will return back to normal with the assurance that all of the staff, students, and their families will be safe and healthy.
Prayer requests and praises:
-
Pray for the spiritual and physical health of our students’ families and teachers.
-
Pray for spiritual wisdom for each teacher and staff members in our school as they make decisions.
-
Praise God for the spiritual maturity of the teachers.
-
Praise God that teachers have taken extra time in the week to do counseling with the students. Teachers know the family's circumstances and in one way or another God has provided a solution for the personal conflicts.
-
Praise God for all the people involved when sharing provision of food or financial support for others.
