Where have you seen God working at the school?Girls in school at Honduras

I have seen God working through the successful opening of school. We continue to pray for the parents to help their children, always educating them to make good decisions because good decisions can influence the students' lives. Each one of the students reflects the values they’ve been taught at home.

Is there a student or staff member that has stood out to you?  What made them stand out?

A mother came to talk to me who asked me about teaching values to the children because they are necessary to interact in our society. That made me happy. If the parents agree with the values that we teach the children, then there will be change generated in our society. That little seed helps to have a society with better morals.

What are some fun projects or activities that different grades are doing?

Students are doing recreational activities which help them exercise. They also do different activities to develop their creativity, such as creating the solar system with Play-Doh, acting in plays for Spanish Day, and doing science experiments.

What was the most enjoyable holiday, celebration, or cultural tradition that happened this year?

Easter week! The students learned customs, made a craft, and learned about what Jesus did for us.

Is there a Bible verse that your class has been studying? Or maybe a verse that God has put on your heart during this season?

John 8:32: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

What would you like to say to partners that are supporting the class and students?

We are thankful for the support we have received from you. Together we are doing a great labor so the children can be educated with passion for Jesus, and they can show others His great love.

Is there anything else we’ve missed?  We want to know it all!

The teachers feel very blessed! We have incorporated times of praise and thanksgiving at the end of each week to thank God for the time He gave us together. As teachers we have received God’s mercy to develop this important job.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the family situation of each one of the students.
  • Please pray for jobs for the students’ parents. Many lost their jobs last year because of the pandemic.
