Living Out Faith Beyond the Church Walls
Did you know Lifeline empowers people to live out their faith beyond the walls of the church? One of the ways we do this is through Kingdom businesses.
What Is a Kingdom Business?
A Kingdom business is a business led with faith and grounded in biblical principles. It seeks to honor God through how people are served, how decisions are made, and how resources are stewarded.
These businesses create sustainable livelihoods for families. They also help support and sustain churches and ministries by providing steady income and opportunities for discipleship in everyday life.
Through Kingdom Business training, leaders learn how to apply God’s Word to daily business decisions so their work reflects Christ. Business becomes a tool for ministry, allowing faith to be lived out through integrity, care for others, and long-term impact in the communities God has placed them.
Learning That Leads to Lasting Impact
“This training helped me see my business in a new way,” Romy shares. “I learned that business is not just about income. It is about people.”
For the past three months, ten Lifeline leaders have been participating in online Kingdom Business training. What they are learning is already shaping how they lead and serve in their communities.
Two of those leaders, Romy and Dr. Yosary, are putting these lessons into practice through a restaurant in Omoa and a dental clinic in Choloma. Their stories show how faith and practical skills can come together to create opportunity.
Growing with PurposeRomy helps run La Plaza Tacos in Omoa, Honduras. Through Kingdom Business training, she has gained clarity around her vision and how to organize her ideas in an impactful way.
The training has helped Romy plan more wisely, manage with intention, and better understand the people she serves. Instead of seeing customers simply as transactions, she now values them as people God has placed in her path.
“This program helped me grow spiritually, personally, and as a business owner,” Romy explains. “What I am learning now will help me continue growing in the future.”
Today, her restaurant is a place where care and purpose guide daily decisions.
Building with Confidence
In Choloma, Honduras, Dr. Yosary Maradiaga is leading the development of a new dental clinic through their local church.
Kingdom Business training gave her the foundation she needed. “It is not easy to start a business without knowing where to begin,” she says. “This training helped me define the steps and gave me confidence instead of fear.”
Dr. Yosary has learned to trust the abilities God has given her and to lead with patience and care. She is applying what she has learned by preparing the clinic space, creating simple advertisements, connecting with suppliers, and visiting schools to teach children about oral hygiene.
Through Kingdom Business training, leaders like Romy and Dr. Yosary are learning how to build businesses rooted in faith, care, and wise stewardship.
Your Partnership Makes This PossibleStories like these are possible because of the generosity of Lifeline partners who believe in equipping local leaders. When leaders are trained and supported, communities are strengthened for the long term.
Your support helps provide the tools and training that allow leaders to serve with confidence and purpose.
