Those hard-to-reach places

When you are hungry, it’s easy to walk to your cupboard, refrigerator, or drive to the grocery store to meet that basic need. But this is not the case for many people in Haiti.

So our Haitian field staff have taken the initiative to help the hungry in their neighborhoods and beyond. They travel to hard-to-reach communities in their country to take meals to people in desperate need of nourishment.

Though the terrain was difficult for travel, our team recently provided nutritious, rice-based meals to 415 men, women, and children in great need. They worked closely with the local churches to distribute the meals, because, in all that we do, we want the glory and thanks to be given to God!

Emmanuel Adam, who is our Field Operations Manager, shared:

“The needs are huge as you can see from the pictures. Some of the kids even stay on the road running after every vehicle begging for food and water. Each time we go to these areas, we have a devotion first, talk about Lifeline and share the meals.”

The Haitian families were incredibly grateful!
