Dear friends,
I want you to know how much we appreciate you and thank God for you!
Because of you, God's love is being expressed in tangible ways to kids and families.
We hear stories from all around our ministries. Stories where lives are being transformed, hope is being reborn, and live are being filled with purpose and a greater calling from God.
Ruth is one of those stories...
Eight years ago, her dad and stepmom died. Life looked bleak when Ruth was placed in our children's home. I'll let Ruth share her story in her own words:
"My first week at the children's home was hard; I missed my home. But after that, God changed my sadness and put happiness in my heart. My new family at the children's home did a great impact in my new life.
"I am grateful to God because today, He has allowed me to finish my first goal: graduate high school... and for us in Honduras, it is a great victory to finish high school.
"I can say to you: thank you for this opportunity you have given to me through Lifeline!"
I'm thankful that we had a safe place for Ruth to call home, for her to accomplish her dreams, and mostly, for her to experience and grow in God's love. For too many orphans - especially girls - their story doesn't end like that. But for Ruth, her story is far from over...
In fact, God is beginning a new chapter in Ruth's life. A that chapter is only there because of the foundation that was built in her life through our children's home.
Ruth shares:
"Please help me with your prayers, as I continue dreaming. Now I would like go to college and study mathematics to be engineer, as well as continue studying English. I dream of having my own home and being part of the development of my country. I will not forget the love of God through you!
"I am grateful for the impact Lifeline is making on many lives in my country. I am one of them..."
God changed the trajectory of Ruth's life. And as you see, she doesn't take that for granted...
Ruth is taking what you've given her to multiply hope and pay it forward to others!
God is using you to impact the kids in our ministries and help them break societal barriers. One-by-one, lives are being transformed. Generations of families will now have a God-story written in their life!
Thank you again, for sharing God's love in tangible ways to kids and families throughout Lifeline's ministries! You simply never know who God is going to use to take His message of hope and love to others...
