Where Your Yes Could Lead...
Within 72 hours, Kaitlin lost three things she had been holding onto tightly.
Everything she had built her life around was suddenly gone.
Kaitlin, she found herself struggling emotionally and spiritually. She had grown up in the church. She knew what faith looked like.
But she began to realize there’s a difference between knowing about God and truly surrendering your life to Him.
So she did something simple: she said yes.

Kaitlin said yes to a mission trip with Lifeline. Joining a group she didn’t know.
While in Honduras, Kaitlin chose to be baptized in the ocean, marking a new chapter in her faith.
But what started there didn’t stay there.
Hollie, Lifeline Trip Guide & Senior Director of Partnership Development, shared, “I’ve had a front row seat to Kaitlin’s faith journey, and it’s been incredible to watch. God’s fingerprints are all over her life.”

When Kaitlin came home, she began serving at Lifeline Charlotte week after week. Her faith began to grow stronger, rooted in community and a deeper walk with God.
In James 2:17, we’re reminded that faith comes alive through action.
For Kaitlin, it started with one step of obedience.
One yes.
Now, she says it simply: "Where you are is where your mission is."
Sometimes serving looks small.
But God often uses those moments to do something much bigger, not just through you, but in you.
If you’ve ever felt that nudge to get involved, don’t overthink it.
Take a step. See what God might do.
Step into your yes!
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” - James 2:17 (NIV)
