You keep ministry momentum moving when you support the ministry of our stateside missionaries: our Lifeline staff who dedicate their lives 24/7 to restoring hope around the world. Your prayers and donations enable our staff to be your hands and feet, as God's love is shared through Lifeline's ministry communities!
Mitch shares:
I grew up in the church. From an early age I loved everything God offered us, promised
us and provided us. After graduating from high school I attended Ozark Christian
College for one year. My best friend was going to attend that year and I wanted that
solid foundation before pursuing a career.
Over the next several decades I chased several different career paths and unfortunately
money. I’ve worked for major corporations and even started my own company. When I
realized this was not what God had in store for me, I sold my business and quit a job
that I’d only been at for about 8 months. With nothing in sight, my family and I changed
churches. There was a Lifeline next to the new church. We looked into what Lifeline
was, and signed up for a meal-pack at the Centre. My wife and I fell in love with all of it.
After the meal-pack, I started volunteering at the Indy HUB and my wife and I started
helping out with mobile meal packs. I was hooked (actually she was hooked just as
much as me, but she already has an established career). God had shown me what I
was longing for over the past 15 years. Amazingly, the HUB manager position opened
up. I’ve always loved missions and this was definitely a “God” move.
A person REALLY doesn’t know what God has in store for them until they stop
everything, be still and just listen. What a blessing!
