COME ALONGSIDE LOCAL LEADERS TO SERVE
Overview
North Carolina is a vibrant state with rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and welcoming communities full of Southern charm—from the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains to its scenic coastline. Fun fact: It’s also the birthplace of Krispy Kreme doughnuts!
Lifeline Charlotte is based in Concord, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. Known for its rich history and vibrant community, Concord was named an All-America City in 2004, and is home to the Avett Brothers and many top attractions. Yet, 1 in 5 children and 22% of residents here still face food insecurity. Lifeline partners with local organizations to provide practical solutions and support to those in need.
Every trip is designed in partnership with the local leaders and ministry partners in mind. We work together to determine meaningful opportunities for people to experience what God is doing in North Carolina. There are many ways for teams to learn, participate, and serve in ministry alongside others in North Carolina. The primary goal in all of the ministries is to make a kingdom impact in their community!

Number of team members
We intentionally focus on smaller team sizes for a better overall trip experience for the goers as well as the receivers. 8-10 team members is the ideal size to allow the team to have a more personal experience as they interact with one another and with the community they are going to serve. A smaller team size also allows for deeper conversations and bonding experiences on the field. And this small size prevents the location we are visiting from being overwhelmed.Trip length
3-5 daysDocuments needed
Online application, background check (provided by Lifeline) and a notarized parental consent form, if needed.
